SOUTHERN MICROWAVE Utilizes test fixtures when production testing the units on the line.

Fixture [A] has (3) SMA connectors tied to 50 OHM microstrip lines .025 wide by .008 thick teflon dielectric.

Fixture [B] has a straight-thru 50 OHM matched microstrip transmission line. The straight thru line is the exact length of the test fixture and is used to zero out the fixture loss while testing the unit in the analyzer.

These are very accurately machined fixtures that simulate the actual microstrip interface on a subsystem. These fixture sets are manufactured for sale to facilitate test data compatibility between the manufacturer and the customer.
